Description: This Museum is situated on a scheduled site, one of the most famous sites in world aviation history. It was the take-off point, in 1919, for the R34 airship which flew to the USA, becoming the first aircraft to fly east to west across the Atlantic. It also added the first return Transatlantic flight to its record.
The Museum of aircraft is housed in the original World War II, hangars and buildings � the most complete airfield still existing.
Concorde Alpha Alpha is now part of the new exhibition
