Description: Manderston, which is the home of Lord and Lady Palmer, is a fine combination of Georgian style and Edwardian practicality. It is unique in having the world famous silver staircase. The Channel 4 television series �The Edwardian Country House� was filmed here.

Seasonal opening details (2006): 12th May to 29th September, Thursdays and Sundays only. Plus Late May and August Bank Holidays
Opening Hours: House: Thursdays and Sundays, 1.30pm to 5pm. Gardens: 11.30am to dusk. Group visits at other times, by appointment.
Facilities: Shop There is a tea room open from 11.30am on open days serving teas, snacks and light lunches. The tea room may also be booked for coach parties.
